Peer Review Policy
The International Journal of Social Science, Commerce & Management Studies (IJSSCM) follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness, transparency and academic quality. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.
Review Process
- Initial Screening: The editorial team evaluates the manuscript for originality, relevance, formatting and compliance with the journal's scope.
- Peer Review: Suitable manuscripts are sent to independent expert reviewers for evaluation.
- Editorial Decision: Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief makes one of the following decisions:
- Accept
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Reject
- Revision: Authors submit revised manuscripts by addressing reviewers’ comments within the specified time.
- Final Acceptance: After satisfactory revision, the manuscript is accepted for publication.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript.
- Provide objective, constructive and timely reviews.
- Declare any conflict of interest.
- Evaluate originality, methodology and academic quality.
Author Responsibilities
- Submit original and unpublished work.
- Follow ethical publishing standards.
- Respond to reviewer comments accurately.
- Avoid simultaneous submission to other journals.
